Bachelor-Syracuse Mine Tour
Tour a real Silver and Gold mine. You will board a mine train and plunge 3,350 feet into Gold Hill. You will see the rich ore veins, work area, and equipment used in mining. Box Canyon Falls Park
Plunging waterfall slices 285 feet through a cave-like canyon. This dramatic waterfall located in the SW corner of the city, is the culmination of Canyon Creek narrowing and spilling thousands of gallons a minute of water over and through a spectacular, boxed geological formation formed over hundreds of years. Great picnic area!
Ouray's Natural Hot Springs Pool
Originally constructed in 1927 after six years of planning and delays. The local residents and officials had seen it as a way of attracting more tourists to the community. Today the pool is still open to the public and contains over a million gallons of natural hot springs 106 degree water.
