Craig Colorado is a town full of recreational opportunities, natural resources, and old west tradition. Brown's Park National Wildlife Refuge
This natural bird habitat lies on the Green River and covers over 13,000 acres. It is managed by the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service as a refuge for migratory waterfowl, as well as wintering elk and deer. The refuge is home to approximately 200 species of birds. Bald eagles may be observed in the winter, while peregrine falcons and golden eagles are seen soaring over the refuge in the spring and summer.

Loudy Simpson Park

The Dinosaur National Monument
The Dinosaur National Monument covers over 211,000 acres of spectacular canyon country. Maps and information can be picked up at the Visitor's Center, located 2 miles east of the town of Dinosaur on U.S. HWY 40. The National Monument provides scenic drives, nature trails for hiking, and incredible rafting and fishing opportunities on the Green and Yampa Rivers (permits required).

The Museum of Northwest Colorado
Take a tour of The Museum of Northwest Colorado and get a fascinating look at the wildwest history that took place in this part of Colorado.
